Tangier Airport
You are able to fly into Tangiers direct from the UK, however
tourism is increasing at rate of 20% a year and it will not
be long before there are more frequent flights from more UK
airports.

is 1 hour.
Tetuoan Airport
Tetouan airport is only a short drive to the developments
on offer and by approximately 2008, the airport will be expanded

you can then drive to the ferry terminals at either Alcerias
(1 hr ferry trip) or Tarifa.(35 minutes ferry trip) reaching
Tangier Port. You are able to fly from Malaga to tangier Airport
if you wish, but flight connections may match and you could
end up with a long waiting time in Malaga.

The mortgage is assessed on your income at the time of taking
out the mortgage.
What is the Purchase Procedure / Payment Schedules ?
The purchase procedure in Morocco for the majority of the

There is a refundable reservation fee of £3,000 once
you decide to visit Morocco.
Once you have confirmed your plot, a reservation contract
is sent and a further 40% of the purchase price is then requested
in 14 days from the contract being issues.
There is then nothing to pay until completion, when you can
either pay cash or attain a mortgage.
Can I get a Mortgage?
We work with you to secure the most attractive and flexible
Moroccan mortgage. We have built a strong relationship with
several of the largest banks in Morocco such as Credit Du
Maroc and BMCE. Current interest rates are at about 7% for
a variable rate mortgage.
Our banks will loan you up to 35% to 40% of your net salary
without prior credit checks or confirmation of existing obligations.
The mortgages are 70% of the property sale price for non-resident
foreign propety owners.
We have built special agreements with the banks so that we
can often get your loan approved in 24 hours.
In order to facilitate this, you will need to have the following
paperwork ready on completion:

2. Bank statements (the last six months)
3. Your pay stub (the last three months)
BUSINESS OWNERS:
1. Company statutes (Bylaws) (showing who owns company)

How Long will it Take to
Build The Property?
The average development time to be built is 18 – 24
months, depending on the size and complexity of the phases.

below a minimum of 10ºC/50ºF. On warm days one can
rely on a steady, comfortable sea breeze. Rainfall averages
150mm (6 inches) per month - mostly during the winter season.

IT'S CURRENCY
The unit of currency is the Dirham (Dh), which is divided
into 100 centimes. A Euro equals 10.8 Dirhams, & a Sterling
Pound equals 16.3 Dirhams. Business visitors are advised to
consult their banks for the current rate of exchange. No import
of Dirhams is allowed. Overseas visitors need to change their
currency into Dirhams locally.
The Moroccan Central Bank (Bank Al Maghreb) fixes the value
of the Dirham using a basket of currencies including the Euro,
Dollar and Yen. The Dirham is not yet fully convertible.
